No, depending on the level of study you wish to follow, you submit your documents. For example, if you wish to do an MSc we do not need a High school certificate, but the diploma of your university level. For a PhD study we need to your MSc diploma.

Please use the following link instead to gain access to our application form: The application database is closed at this moment.

NOTE: In order to submit an application for the Intra-ACP programme you need to start by registering an email account. It is very important that you provide a valid and operational email address. Therefore, please make sure to keep your email account active because some free email providers disable accounts that are not used for a duration of time (usually about 1-2 months) so check the situation with your email provider.

Yes, you may apply up to 3 studies or countries. You can only submit one application: Please note that you do not need to fill in separate applications for them. You apply in priority order, i.e. your first submitted application will be regarded as your first choice, the second application the second choice and so on.

Note: You do not need to register several email accounts to apply to different universities or courses. Also note that you only have to upload required documents once. Your uploaded documents are considered for all universities or courses you apply to. Therefore, if you wish to apply 3 times then you will upload your documents ONLY 1 time!!!

We will not register more than 3 options for you, and please be reminded that the final decision will be made by the Consortium which one of your options will be used, since we expect to get more applications than we have positions. Any attempt to influence the chances of being accepted by applying more than once (through e.g. different email addresses) will be considered as fraud. The applications will consequently be removed.

Uploading documents means you have to scan your documents and send them to us through the Internet.

This documentation will be necessary for you to prove that you qualify for a certain level of study you apply for. For example:

Should you wish to apply for an MSc study, you need to show that you have a BSc diploma. Should you wish to apply for a PhD, then you have to show that you have an MSc diploma and also have the course records of the studies that you followed.

Please note that it is not possible for us to take action in requesting your documents from any university! Should you wish to apply you have to make sure that all your documents are in order.

The Consortium will start to review the applications shortly after that. The aim is that you will hear from us within six months after this date.

Please check Organisation and implementation of mobility to determine your target group.

Important Note (Proof of registration):

Applicants for Target group 1 (Currently registered student or staff at a Partner University) need to prove that they are registered at one of the partner universities! For this we need a certified document which states just that. Therefore, the applicant is requested to upload required documents as a proof of registration. At least one certified copy (e.g., student ID card, current course record/certificate from the home university, current pay slip/work certificate) must be uploaded in order to validate the eligibility of the selected target group.

This programme is meant to be a mobility scheme, i.e a programme designed to promote mobilities (movement) between countries.

No, it is not possible to apply for a scholarship outside the programme. If you wish to apply it has to be with one of the partner universities of the Intra-ACP programme.

A wide range of fields of study are available, to be found at the application page under "fields of study". This means that the chosen field of study should take place with one of our partner universities of the consortium, it is not possible to benefit from these scholarships in the country of origin or outside of Africa.

In order to submit an application for Intra-ACP programme you need to start by registering an email account. It is very important that you provide a valid and operational email address. No. It is not a requirement for Target group 2 candidates to be registered with a Home University (means a University in their country which is not part of the partner Institutions). In this case, we recommend that the candidate register with the Host University and complete their studies from home afterwards (especially for the shorter term mobilities. However if they are registered with a Home University- then they can proceed with studies after the mobility at that particular University- provided the credit transfer systems are agreed upon before the candidate embarks with studies.
